1999 Topps Baseball Hobby Factory Set

The 1999 Topps set consisted of 462 standard-size cards. The Mark McGwire number 220 card was issued in 70 different varieties to honor his record setting season. The Sammy Sosa number 461 card was issued in 66 different varieties to honor his 1998 season. Basic sets are considered complete with any one of the 70 McGwire and 66 Sosa variations. Card number 7 was not issued as Topps continues to honor the memory of Mickey Mantle.
