1996 Upper Deck UD Collector's Choice Baseball Factory Set

This 790-card standard-size set (produced by Upper Deck) was issued in 12-card packs with 36 packs per box and 20 boxes per case. The fronts of the regular set feature a player photo, his name and team logo. The backs feature another photo, vital stats and a baseball quiz.

The set includes the following subsets: 1995 Stat Leaders (2-9), Rookie Class (10-39), Traditional Threads (100-108), Fantasy Team (268-279), International Flavor (325-342), Series 1 Checklists (358-365), Team Checklists (396-423), First HOF Class (500-504), Arizona Fall League (650-666), Award Winners (704-711) and Series 2 Checklists (753-760). Postseason Trade cards were inserted one every 11 packs. These cards had an ordering deadline of May 13 and were each redeemable for 10 cards depicting highlights from the playoffs and World Series, resulting in a 30-card redemption set.

Finally, a 30-card Update set was included in each factory set and was also available through a Series 2 wrapper offer. The Cal Ripken Collection cards inserted into these packs, are priced in the Upper Deck area as Upper Deck Ripken Collection.
