2025 Bowman Chrome Draft Autographs Sparkle Refractors #CPAJHA Josiah Hartshorn /71
Hartshorn shared the championship of the All-Star High School Home Run Derby at Globe Life Field in 2024, reinforcing his bona fides as one of the best power prospects in the 2025 prep. A switch-hitter, he batted almost exclusively right-handed for most of his first three years at baseball powerhouse Orange (Calif.) Lutheran HS because of an elbow injury, then began using his lefty swing again as a junior when a back ailment hampered his righty stroke. The Cubs selected him 181st overall and paid him a sixth round-record $2 million (early second-round money) to lure him away from a Texas A&M commitment.
